Trust in the process

Trust in the process

The hardest part of transition is not the change itself.
It is trusting in the process.

Trusting that everything will be okay, even if you don’t know how.
Trusting that there is a way, even if you can’t see it yet.
Trusting that you can let go, even if you don’t know what’s coming.

And that trust is difficult.
Especially for people who are used to being in control.

Because control provides certainty.
Or at least the illusion of certainty.

You know what happens when you do A.
You can estimate where B will lead.
You have overview, direction, predictability.

But transition requires something else.

Transition requires letting go of control.
Moving without knowing where you will end up.
To take steps while the path forms beneath your feet.

And that feels like free fall.
Not because it’s dangerous.
But because it’s unknown.

And in that unknown, you have to find trust.

Not the trust that everything will turn out the way you want it to.
But the trust that the process will take you where you need to be.

That trust is not passivity.
It is not waiting or hoping.

It is an active choice.

The choice to move, even without all the answers.
The choice to feel, even if it is uncomfortable.
The choice to be present, even if you don’t know where it is going.

And in that presence, the path emerges.
Not in advance. But along the way.

Step by step.
Shift by shift.
Moment by moment.

The path does not unfold because you plan it.
The path unfolds because you move.

And that movement—daring to move without knowing—that is what
trust consists of.

Not certainty about the outcome.
But trust in the process.

The process that thousands before you have gone through.
The process that always leads to where you belong.

If only you dare to trust it.
