Empty success
I have spoken to leaders who achieved everything they set out to do.
And yet they said, “Is this it?”
They had the job. The salary. The recognition.
But inside, it was quiet. Or worse: empty.
This is not ingratitude.
This is the realization that success is not the same as fulfillment.
You can achieve success by pursuing goals that others consider important.
Fulfillment comes when you do what is meaningful to you.
And sometimes you only discover that when you have achieved what you wanted.
That what you were pursuing was not what you were looking for.
That the finish line was not the end point, but a new starting point.
The question then is no longer: what do I want to achieve?
The question becomes: what do I want to feel?
Contact me if you need support,
with that,
Warm regards,
Frederik
